How we write — and how to hold us to it

Three kinds of article

Every article carries one of three labels, and each label is a commitment:

• News describes things the network has actually done — launches, partnerships, milestones. If we report it as news, it happened.
• Education explains the field: maintenance economics, donation practice, oxygen systems, repair policy. Education articles make no factual claim we cannot attribute to a named, linked source.
• Perspective is argument and vision, clearly framed as such. We tell you when we are advocating rather than reporting.

Who writes our articles

Our bylines are editorial desks — The Bench, The Supply Desk, The Policy Desk, The Field Desk, The Lab, and The Network Desk. These are openly synthetic personas: consistent editorial lenses, not people, and we will never present them as people. The Global Biomedical Solutions is the author of record for every article, and the network team is responsible for everything published under any desk's name.

Verified sources

Every factual citation on this site is fetched and checked before publication — we confirm that the source exists, that the link resolves, and that it says what we claim it says. We do not cite sources we have not read, and we do not invent statistics. Where the evidence is thin, we say so rather than fill the gap.

AI assistance

Our articles are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by the network team before publication. The standards above apply regardless of how a draft began: sourcing, accuracy, and the final word are human responsibilities.
